Jace cried and cried this morning when Ryan had to go back to work after getting to spend 3 whole days with him! Ryan last minute got Friday off of work, so we decided to go to the zoo. If it seem like we go a lot to the zoo, we do! We bought a membership and are enjoying using it. It was perfect weather (low 70s) and we spent a few hours there and ate a picnic lunch.
Jace had a new favorite animal this trip, a snake! We had to go back twice to see it.

On the Saturday it rained almost the whole day and was cool, such an unusual 4th of July. We went to the Farmer's Market in the morning, relaxed and did things around the house, and later that afternoon went to a friends house for a BBQ. They go all out and we had a lot of fun. They had a huge bouncer thing in the backyard that Jace jumped in for I think about 3 hours straight. He loved it.
Sometimes he wanted Mom or Dad to bounce too! This kid hardley ever stops moving!
They had their own fireworks show. It was awesome. Jace liked it but we had to take some breaks in the house when he got scared.

Looks like you guys had a nice weekend. Glad Ryan was able to get a day off work. But I really, really wish you could have been in Utah with us. We had such a great reunion. Let's start planning our Labor Day trip!

Wow, you'll have to get a pet snake now! If you lived in Strasburg, you could catch one, and then our friend Travis would bring mice to you! No, Pedro might be jealous.
He is such a boy! And soooo much like Jade...have I ever mentioned that?! LOl...Jayden has been more and more daring this whole week as we have been at parks...not afraid to try anythign! He scares the pee out of me!
