We moved across the country! Ryan was ready for a new job and we had an ideal housing situation to rent a nice house next to family so after a long job search Ryan got a great offer from a company in Salt Lake City so we made the move right before Christmas! We packed up all of December, said goodbye to family and friends and after 9 1/2 years we said goodbye to Illinois! Definitely bittersweet for us but we were ready for a change. Ryan drove the truck to Utah and I flew with the 3 kids by myself the day before Christmas Eve. We moved our stuff in Christmas Eve. Tried to set up the beds and as much stuff as we could so we could spend Christmas in our new house. We had a successful Christmas morning! Jace with his loot.

She really wanted to eat so I started feeding her solids and she loves it!
We've had crazy weather. By now we've probably had about 8 feet of snow fall (while Chicago's had none!). We also had a lovely ice storm and some real cold temperatures. We've had some good times out in the snow. We had a big hilly yard with lots of sledding without even leaving the yard.

I'm so glad it all finally worked out the way you hoped it would. Way to never give up! We do miss you, though.
