Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas. All the Mitchell's were together except Maret (whom we missed but was vacationing in Europe!). Here we were all gathered for the blessing our of newest sweet niece, Riley Jane. It was so fun to be all together and see all the grandkids together, it's been awhile!

We made gingerbread houses.

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve. We went to a bouncing place with the kids in the morning, ate a Cafe Rio dinner, played Christmas songs on my pipe chimes, and acted out the Nativity. Jace was Joseph, Lacey was Mary, and Uncle Ricky was the donkey.

Riley was baby Jesus, they were so sweet with her rubbing her face the whole time.

Oh how I love snuggling with little newborns.

Christmas morning was fun because Jace was really excited about presents! We opened presents and had our traditional yummy breakfast. Jace got his requested spaceship and army guys, Eli got some Little People toys and a hockey stick and they both got wooden blocks, a ball pit, towels, electric toothbrushes and a bunch of other things I can't remember.

Pretty excited about a towel! (I was excited, Rebe and I found them on Black Friday for $7.99 each!)

Yes, this does collapse so we can put it away but they've had lots of fun with this.

These blocks are awesome, Jace has been building towers, cities, streets, walls, castles everyday then freaking out if Eli comes near. Later on Christmas day we met again for a delicious dinner and more family time. That night Christmas decorations came down and pine needles vacuumed up, ah, feels good.

We love when everyone's together and it was great to spend time with the Strom's and Ricky who are far away.
