We had so much fun at Thomas last year we decided to go again! Jace is just as into Thomas trains this year if not more than last year. This is our attempt at a picture of the boys together.
We got there early and did a few things before the millions of little boys and their families descended. Unfortunately it was an extremely hot and humid day and we got attacked by mosquitos at lunch, but other than that it was great.
We had fun riding Thomas.
We came too late to wait in line to see Sir Topham Hatt but we caught him on his way out, way better than waiting forever!
We got to explore lots of old trains.
Both boys enjoying the scenery. It takes place in Union, Illinois which is way out of the Chicagoland surrounded by farms and open fields which was such a nice change for us!
