We had a wonderful Christmas this year. It was so fun to have a new baby in the house and Jace was really into it this year. We had fun decorating our tree.
Eli got into the spirit.
Maret surprised us with a visit and got to meet her new nephew. Jace recognized Aunt Mimi and had fun playing with her.
We spent some nights relaxing in front of a fire listening to Christmas music (our favorites- Clay Aiken and Josh Groban).
We spent Christmas Eve with family at Ryan's parents house. We made yummy homemade pizzas then opened a traditional Christmas Eve present. Unfortunately Jace woke up Christmas Eve not feeling well and had a fever so we didn't do some of the other things we planned like going to see Santa but oh well! Christmas morning we woke up to see what Santa brought! Jace had been asking for James (from Thomas) and luckily Santa found a good deal on some trains on Craigslist and his wish was fulfilled! He also got a tunnel for his trains, play doh stuff, and a few other fun things I can't remember right now.
He wanted to play right away with his trains.
He wanted me to take a picture of each train.
Eli got a cool new wooden rattle and a book, he was happy! We enjoyed caramel pull-apart rolls for breakfast and then spent the rest of the day with family and had a great time. We decided to scale down Christmas this year and do some homemade things so it was fun to see what everyone came up with. Hope you had a great Christmas too!
