Birthday Boy

This sweet boy turned 1 this week! We can't believe it has been a whole year since he made this grand entrance into the world and we are grateful everyday that he is in our family.

He hardly seems like a baby at all since he has been walking for a few months and is now running, stomping, and dribbling soccer balls. He loves to throw the football and is weighing in at 21# 10 oz and has ~14 teeth.

We celebrated with a little party that morning with some friends. We did an airplane theme, one of Eli's favorite things.

That night when Dad got home with had a yummy dinner and opened presents. He got the new Weebles treehouse toy which is so fun. Jace loves it and Eli's learning how to play with it!

He enjoyed playing with all his new toys. It was like Christmas for Jace, he ripped open every present and has been playing with all of them.

This is one of my favorite things he does, it means "where'd it go?" He also said his first word last week- "clock." He is goofy, loves to laugh and get chased, loves to do what Jace does, and prefers only his parents and Jace. His favorite things are balls, trains, airplanes, animals, being outside, splashing in water, and cuddly blankets and stuffed animals. He is a joy.
