Jackson Hole

We recently got back from a great trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming with the Melville clan. It was all my sisters, brother-in-laws, nieces/nephew, and my parents. This was the only weekend of the whole year that we could all get together so I made sure it happened! We stayed in an awesome hotel and had two big suites that slept 8 each, and got to spend a lot of time hanging out together. It was nice to be in a beautiful place, that's not so stressful and crowded. We love Jackson Hole, the last time we were there was 7+ years ago when I went to Rexburg to see Ryan and we drove over for the day.

We went on a hike up to Phelps Lake and had a picnic at the top, it was so pretty! And a good workout.

Jace rode in a backpack on my dad's back, he wasn't so sure he liked it but made it all the way up in it. The way back he wanted to walk himself and do his new favorite activity, throw rocks in water.

Here's the grandkids. We got to meet our new niece and nephew, so fun!

We saw a moose on the way back, very appropriate as it was in Moose, WY.

One night we went to the Bar J Wrangler ranch for a dinner and show. Before dinner we walked around and Jace got to feed the horse which he loved. He was shoving hay in his mouth making Cookie Monster sounds, so funny. We then enjoyed a yummy cowboy dinner and show during a thunderstorm.

We did lots of shopping, my sisters and I love the gift shops in Jackson. Jace also loved seeing all the animals everywhere.

We saw some buffalo.

The boys went fishing one day and Ryan caught a fish, hooray!

Our hotel had a pool and Jace loved swimming and was constantly asking if we could go in the water.

Some other fun things we did was river rafting (Jace and I had to sit out of that one, bummer), eating out at yummy restaurants, seeing Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum (Jace loved it), lots of shopping, and just spending a lot of good time with family that we don't see very often.
